On cartography, it is known as Kepi i Palit, while the locals use the toponym ‘’Bishti i Pallës’’ (Bishtpallë) to name it.

A thin strip of land extends about 2 km towards the sea, while the small bays created by the twists of the natural landscape are among the most beautiful beaches of Durrës.

One of the most serious investments in the area is Portez beach.

The natural protection that the hilly area guarantees to the sandy and sea area has turned it into the favorite of the residents of Durrës, both for those who visit it for the first time and for regular visitors.

The fees for the sunbeds are 1500 ALL, but you can also stay in public spaces.

For foreigners, these beaches are the perfect vacation spots because you can find everything in one place.

“You have a lot of tourism potential. You have very beautiful beaches. It’s a great time in Durrës”, a young woman from Portugal tells us.

“It’s a fantastic place. I have been here for 3 days. You are working well and Durrës is progressing in the tourism sector. Many of my friends have come here in previous years and they have all been very satisfied”.

In addition to the bar and restaurant that offers a very varied menu, where seafood dominates, there you can find considerable spaces for camping or for a few days’ accommodation in small villas, where the daily rent is 50 euros.

Portez is not the only beach in this suburban area of ​​Durrës.
