There is rhythm, youthful energy, and a very fun and festive atmosphere in Durrës.

In the Albanian tourism capital, nightlife is at its peak.

The variety of musical options offered by nightlife venues or summer nightclubs has turned the “Currila,” “Plazh,” or “Shkembi i Kavajes” areas into meeting points for all generations.

They desire to spend the evening hours with joyfulness, which only notes on a staff can generate.

The dynamism of traditional Albanian dances engages foreign tourists, who join locals in beach parties where joy and entertainment are reflected in everyone’s faces.

“It’s something new, but there is pleasant music. I enjoyed it.”

“It was a wonderful atmosphere; I loved it. We even learned some dance steps.”

“It’s a music very different from ours; it’s another culture. But we enjoyed it a lot.”

“I enjoyed it a lot; it was an exciting dance. We had a great time.”

“I was very pleased. I didn’t dance but listened to the songs and was impressed,” said foreign tourists from various EU countries to “DurrësLajm.”

The massive return of emigrants to their homeland is a golden opportunity for families or social groups to come together and celebrate in good company.

Live performances give the evening a different atmosphere; for many, it becomes impossible not to get up on the dance floor. The years on one’s shoulders do not matter on these nights, as everyone feels young and energetic.

“It’s a wonderful evening, and the venue is wonderful.”

“The atmosphere is perfect. There’s a lot of liveliness.”

“It’s the moment, the company we have, our loved ones. Everything is together. By the sea, every moment is beautiful.”

“Every summer, when our friends who live abroad come, we get together,” say many residents of Durrës, as well as those who have returned from abroad to spend a few days of vacation in their hometown.

This season, Durrës has been frequented by groups of young people from various European countries, for whom the nightclubs are a great way to enjoy their holidays.

The vibrant sounds of dance music make these beach nightclubs the most popular spots in the late hours of the evening.

“Durrës has become one of the most preferred destinations. We have many foreign tourists, but also locals. As you can see, the venue is full.”

“We’ve had a lot of demand from both foreigners and Albanians. The approach we’ve taken with our investment here suits perfectly the needs of those who want to go out and enjoy the nightlife,” said the managers of two of the most popular lounge bars in the coastal city.

The loud music continues until midnight, as the venues must comply with the legal regulations for maintaining public peace.

But even though nightlife fun doesn’t last until the early morning hours, the atmosphere, especially on weekends, turns these nightclubs and venues into the trendiest spots for summer evenings in Durrës.
